Fun On A Cloudy Dayby simbambaComment: Nice capture of this fast moving coaster and the people's expressions! Good composition as well. |

Enchanted Forest by BobsterLobsterComment: Very beautiful; I love the "darkness" of it, combined with the rich colors. It might have been nice to have some more of the tree tops/greenery though. |

P5100124_small.jpgby drgsoellComment: This has a lot going for it as a natural abstract. I like the combination of colors, and the sweeping shap of the object. The only thing I think I would do is to either crop the left to get rid of the bright spot that's different than the grassy background, or outside of a challenge you could clone it out (completing the green)
I would have given this a very good score. |

Hunter and Huntedby mrphrtqComment: Nice clear shot; good use of DOF. You can see the web, but it would be nice if you could get it to stand out a little more. |

Still Growingby mariomelComment: Good take on the challenge; nice shot too. Perhaps a notch bright, but perhaps you were going for a bit of a high key effect. |

Hard & Softby kevrobertsonComment: IMHO, this shot suffers from a few technical faults, the boots are almost so dark as to be recognizable--I can tell they're boots, and I'm guessing they're some sort of ski boot? Levels adjustment or some different lighting, perhaps from the side, might have remedied that. The shadow and reflection on the wall are distracting--you could have avoided this by moving the subject far enough away from the wall, and even used an F-Stop to give you a soft background taking advantage of low DOF. |

Poor & Richby trunkiComment: While your concept for opposites is a very good one, it is in the cleverness of the realization of that concept that a wonderful picture could have been conceived. It's far too simplistic to represent this in lego characters. Few could identify or even associate real life to these miniatures. I think had you shot a BMW or limousine downtown where indigints were loitering, that would have had a lot of impact. |

chessmenby MorbidAngelComment: I'm sure you've received a lot of comments that have told you this is out of focus (OOF). But I am guessing you knew that. So let's look at something else. It's hard, in this depiction, to tell that the chess players are different. The colors are the same in this very dark image. There is a good feeling of "opposition" though, from the angle you've chosen. But the tight crop here, combined with it being dark and OOF, doesn't have any dynamic, or "pop" as some people refer to it. |
