Lines Everywhere! by Mary Ann MeltonComment: I would have cropped out the top part of the image. The bluish cast draws the eye up and takes away from is an outstanding image. Message edited by author 2004-11-02 21:48:34. |

City Diversby leafComment: Way, way, way cool. Love the colour treatment and how the image gets darker in the bottom. |

The Lines of Autumnby mrorange002Comment: Awesome picture, but there seems to be too much colour saturation overall. Most noticeable in the blue shirt. Leaves also seem overexposed on the right half of the image. This would have been among my top picks if not for this. |

Incubation by ArtysteComment: Cool. These look like scotch mints, but they look an awful lot like eggs. Nice lighting to create all those shadows. Highlights seem slightly blown out on some of the mints. |

overcast day at harbourby whiteroomComment: Too bad about the text on the boat/barge. It really pulls the eye away from the symetry of the crane booms. Should have either cropped or cloned it out. Lovely tones in your photo. |

His Nose Knows - The Sommelierby BeagleboyComment: Thanks for all the comments and votes folks.
This shot has finally put me over the 5.9+ Average Vote Received barrier.
I had fun with this shot. It's another last minute idea. My original plan was to create a nose extension using some sort of clay or Halloween facial putty (that's why I went for a silhouette image), but I just didn't have the time. I think a bigger shnoz would have made the image place a bit higher.
Thanks again. |
