Shot from a ladder, I really wanted to get higher, but was lacking a cherry picker. I guess this photo will net me a 5.8-6.3
Hope I stay above my average.

Great shot, even better prediction... 6.05 is exactly the middle point between 5.8 and 6.3.

I didn't get to comment on this one, but I think it was perfect for the challenge.

Very imaginative, bumping up.

Awesome picture, but there seems to be too much colour saturation overall. Most noticeable in the blue shirt. Leaves also seem overexposed on the right half of the image. This would have been among my top picks if not for this.

Very nice indeed! Filling the frame with the leaves and the angle just make this shot great. Composition good as well. Not sure where the implied lines are, but this shot is great never the less. Congrats

Seems too grainy. Good colors though.

A little too contrasty, but a great shot, colors and concept. I voted a (7)

Great except for lack of detail/contrast/brightness of leaves. Very original set-up, well done.

Love this shot! Great composition, great colors. I would have darkened it just a touch, as the leaves in the upper-right corner seem a little washed-out. The ones in the lower-left are fantastic. Great shot. 10.

I sure wouldn't want to rake all those leaves! Very visually stunning shot

This photo brings up beautiful memories of princeton...

It's been so long since I've seen such an autumn. *sigh*.

Thank you!

Great perspective. Unusual and different. A little off on sharpness and maybe a little oversaturated but I like this picture alot.

Beautiful, bright and creative take on the challenge. The border works very nicely, and the composition within the frame really makes it!

IMO, the angle is bad. I'd rather see a face. The colors are quite nice though.

This was a super idea! One of the most original in the challenge. And I am so jealous -- we don't have any fall colors in Alabama yet -- and may not at all this year because of Ivan. Good luck with your entry.

excellent idea hear -- placement of the green patch is a bit weak (I know that sometimes it's tough to get the elements "lined" up -- especially if this is a candid)

I feel the picture could have been a litle more in focus. I love the color. I do however feel sorry fot you if that is realy your yard....that looks like plenty of work.

If you pulled the camera back a little and have the guy rake a longer line (keeping the guy near the bottom), I think it would have more impact and look better. Also needs more contrast. (Just my opinions, though.) Other than those, excellent shot and perspective!
