This reminds me of a tie-dye shirt. The colors are really cool and the shape is interesting. It even appears to have texture which you don't usually see on slices of fruit. I assume that the soft focus was intentional, and it creates an abstract quality that turns this into a very artistic shot. ~indigo997

A Long and 'Rinding' Road

This is a really awesome idea. The focus in the foreground is excellent, and the exposure is good. Only problem is the dark bg. The continuation of the "road" isn't as pronounced as it could be if the lime (?) were lit better. The green color would also show up more. 8 ~indigo997

Well...I like the black bg. Good focus & lighting. The pomegranite just isn't a very appealing fruit/veggie to me for some reason. Also, the reflections on the bottom are bothering me. My eyes think there's something wrong b/c I'm seeing double. Technically it's really good, but it doesn't have a lot of emotional appeal for me. I'm left wondering exactly why you chose this combination. ~indigo997

I really like how the cup disappears. The bold colors are very nice. Good focus. Lighting seems a bit harsh on the berries, but I guess that might be necessary for getting this high-key effect. 9 ~indigo997

Hot Potato

Whoa! Fire! Hope you didn't get burned doing this. I like the fire and the idea. The potato, however, doesn't look much like a potato now. It's actually rather unrecognizable without the title. I'm not sure what's in the bg, but it's a little distracting and I'd like more lighting in the fg to show the subject better (if it wouldnt detract from the fire too much). All in all, I like it but since the potato is supp to be the subject I think it should be more readily recognizable and stand out more. ~indigo997
