She is a doll and the sex companionship is what's expected here (based on the title if I have to spell it out)...or have you forgotten after kid #2? lol |

really?by kitkatklokComment: The size of the shot doesn't unfortunately do the subject(s) any justice.
I can barely see the child's joy at playing with the cat, his face is in shade and the long grass in front detracts. |

A Lonely Dog, a Lonely Manby wei1108Comment: Sad title. The backlighting doesn't do the shot justice, colours are washed out. On the plus side the emptiness of the lake adds to the feeling. The man and dog however have each other! |

Ss..s...Spider!by TomCubisComment: I don't see an animal? Only an invertebrate...Nice theme and setup and menacing spider but the model, if truly afraid, would be keeping an eye on the spider, not the camera (my opinion). B&W PP is great as is DOF and contrast. Yes, I know that all creatures big and small are part of the 'Animal Kingdom' :) I did not however vote it low. |

Vinnie bookby whiterookComment: Your dog is your best friend. Good to get him also looking at the camera. Shot meets challenge, but too much noise from the low lighting for my liking however. |

Lion In Waitby GeneralEComment: Not in the true spirit of the challenge imo. Animal is not alive or even stuffed. Saturation poor and street through window detracts from shot. Sorry! The only similarity I can see is that it's a man made representation and fits the challenge in that way. Bumped one more point. |

Best Friends by timfythetooComment: Cute interaction, great content expression on child. Great DOF, skin however is marginally OE. |

My Llama, My Friendby bcrantsComment: Lensbaby give you the oval soft outer focus? Cute shot and amazingly tame Llama despite his/her ears being flat. Child looks happy and content. Contrast a bit soft for me. |

I pick youby IraklisComment: Great OOB idea re gruesome side of our interaction with animals. Falls a bit short however on SAT and DOF. |

Silence is Goldenby karenkComment: Classic afternoon horse shot with backlighting. Good exposure control to allow me to see some in-shadow detail. Subjects are a bit too distant imo to give more impact to the shot. |
