the first question that popped into my head is 'why?'. i may be missing something here. as for the photo, i suspect you went for the overblown hair deliberately, but i'm not sure i like it. i'm also wondering what it would've looked like in color ... strawberries are such a lovely red. -- gr8photos.

good idea! the focal point is also just right because the lemon is sharp and the rest is not, but i'm a little distracted by the patterns of the glass you chose (maybe a simple straight one would've worked better for me), as well as the colorful reflections in it. -- gr8photos.

nice positioning of the tomatoe amongst the lettuce, good title, too. the only thing that i would consider trying to do differently (and it may improve or worsen the photo, i don't know), is no water to reduce the glare, and also cover whatever is peeking through at the bottom (corn?). overall good shot. -- gr8photos (6).

syamjonimi ... i put the tomatoes on a white sheet of cardboard. then increased the contrast and the highlights in my photo-editing software. check out //www.langpage.com/dpchallenge/index.com, i've posted the original photo there.

i'm torn as to what rating to give you. emotionally, you tug at the heart-strings, but from a photographic point of view it's only an ok photo. there's some reflection there on sept and we that makes it a little harder to read than necessary. the placement of the pencil is good. there's a little too much empty space at the top and bottom, mayb crop this to 640x427? above all, let's hope that it will be a quiet day, and not just on sept. 11. -- gr8photos (4)

awesome, awesome, awesome. escher would be proud of you. i spent most of this week trying to figure out a photo of my drawing myself in a photo ... you get the drift. failed miserably. you took the concept and just did it perfectly. i'm not so sure about the selective desaturation because it makes the hand look a little spotty, but that's minor. you definitely have one of my top 5 vote this week. -- gr8photos (10)

that's a very cool idea, and i can definitely see how you do this w/out cheating. i just wish the money was a little more in focus and didn't have quite such a yellow tint to it. other than that, that's exactly what my money usually does, it disappears w/out a trace and i wish i could figure out how to stop that ;) -- gr8photos (6)
