composition -- i like how the tree trunk runs diagonally through the photo.
technical -- lighting is pretty good, just a couple of hotspots from the sun, but nothing too distracting. nice sharp focus on the main subject
impression -- i would like to see the background (especially at the top right) a little more blurred. those needles are just a bit busy for my liking.

technical -- good even lighting. good focus.
overall impression -- the background isn't very exciting to me, therefore i would've tried to crop closer to the main subject, the animal. maybe a portrait format that keeps the little bits of green in the top right corner in the photo.
