Lives. in Passingby LydiaComment: Some people might be overly harsh and think that it's not enough of a silhouette on the right (but then again, my screen is a tad bright, I think, so it may be better on other screens. But the man with the cane is great and I like the difference in size. I'm wishing there was a vignette just to take the edges down a bit to add more moodiness. Nice find! |

Herby markwileyComment: I'm finding a lot of the silhouettes looking oversharpened. I wish the sharpening was less on the top 1/3 of the shot. But There's a lot to see and explore and I like dog on the right. :) -8- |

Sunrise Silhouetteby QuickClickMickComment: Really great sun, but I'm thinking the blur of the plane is distracting. I'm also thinking it looks incredibly saturated, but we actually did have a sky that color once, and it's intriguing. 6 |

Making Tracks - Walking into Another Timeby bside123Comment: This is such a wonderful photo, but it's not a silhouette at all. I don't buy into the fact that a silhouette has to be completely black, but there's just way too much detail for it to be a silhouette. Kudos on the shot. I like that you left the word tracks on the sign showing. But it just doesn't fit the challenge. |

Cursors — Foiled Again!by GeneralEComment: Not a photo that I like at all. But it really is quite intriguing. :) Good job getting my attention. It got more face time than many of the shots. |

Fishing is my favorite way of getting nothing done.by chaliceComment: This one confuses me. I like the shot and how the right side completely disappears. What confuses me is that the boat engine isn't silhouetted, there's a lot of detail still there, but the person is. I don't know if that's natural, or if you darkened the person and the boat didn't get the same treatment, but it just isn't looking right on my screen. (sorry) |

Respectby MelethiaComment: Fantastic silhouette. I would love to see the original to see what it looked like before the processing. Love the hair. Love the fact that it points out that the child is wearing a helmet and he isn't. -9- |

Tree at Sunsetby CWFitzComment: I'm having problems with much of this. Sorry -- this will be rather blunt. The blues seem a bit unnaturally saturated. There's halos around the tree trunks from the sharpening and the left side seems cluttered.
That being said, I find the right 2/3s quite interesting. I love the lines and curves. |

Morning Missionby CuttoothComment: I'm looking without my glasses, so feel free to ignore this comment if you don't agree. It seems like that water is oversharpened. It has that extremely high contrast and jagged edges that come with sharpening. I think sharpening the top, but leaving the bottom a bit less sharpened would have been aesthetically much more pleasing. It's a lovely sky and a wonderful scene, but it's a bit jarring and doesn't seem to fit. 6 as is. Could have gone to an 8 with a different treatment |
