| When I'm going through and commenting, I'm trying to figure out if there's a purpose to the rule of thirds. Not all photos benefit by it. I think you took on too much by putting the rocks in the foreground. They don't seem to fit into the photo. The pilings and sky are such wonderful cool tones, and the water is soft as silky. The rocks just end up jarring. You could still have had the rule of thirds with the pilings and bird, and I think it would have been a much stronger photo. |
