Shy Marijaby flip89Comment: Way too soft for me, but otherwise, this is very nice. 6. |

Blond light by LouisonComment: It looks as thought you wanted a yellow cast, but I think I'd rather have it without. Still a nice portrait, though. 6. |

Daydreamby labudsComment: I think this could have benefited with a much better pose, as well as better lighting to emilniate the shadows coming from her arm.
But you were able to capture the color of her eyes wonderfully. |

Dark or light?by moviemanComment: Originally posted by geewhy: Nice image ..nice technique. don`t be put off by the negativity David.
Your image has probably suffered from the fact that a lot of voters only give the image 2 or 3 seconds viewing time.. I have been guilty of this myself in the past..but hopefully learned from it :)
Well done.

That means a lot to me, coming from a great, accomplished photographer. So thank you. |

The boy on the left has the greatest expression.

Silent Landingby instepsComment: So simple, yet elegantly beautiful.
Awesome focus, and great use of the desaturation. I originally gave this a 7, but I'm bumping it up to a 9. |

Attractionby ccraftComment: I think I would have preferred to have the butterfly in color and the rest of the photo in black and white. I don't think it quite works the way you have it.

A Brighter Day Comingby LENWOODBLUZComment: Excellent choice for this theme.
I think the house and cars are slightly distracting. I would have figured out a different crop. Maybe also increasing the saturation and brightness of the rainbow might have helped out a bit. 5. |

Selective Desaturationby Dim7Comment: Interesting choice of focus. I don't particularly like it. It's too big, too centered, and not in focus at all.
But as long as you like it, then that's all that matter. If you had everything in focus, then I think this would be a much nicer photo. |

Rainy Dayby SonifoComment: I think grain when used correctly, really adds to a photo. I find all the grain really distracting here.
I like the way you desaturated, and the framing of the subject. Great photo for the challenge, just a little grainy. 7. |
