Not much purpose in the selction here apart from showing different parts of the scene. The technique works best when drawing the viewer to notice something that perhaps may not be differentiated without the use of the selective colour. In this shot I would notice the flowers anyway.

Not sure I get the front soft focus on the daisy. It seems to distract from the rest and takes up a lot of real estate.

Was this intentional? It looks like the focus was missed.

Great group of plants to work with and it has plenty of contrast. The lead flower being out of focus is a distraction.

Hmm....I would've had the flower in focus in the middle of the photo and have the out of focus one on the left side of the photo

Interesting choice of focus. I don't particularly like it. It's too big, too centered, and not in focus at all.

But as long as you like it, then that's all that matter. If you had everything in focus, then I think this would be a much nicer photo.

the unfocused daisey takes away from this shot

Well this is different with focus on the smaller flower. I'll give a thumbs up for something different. I kind of like it!

I don't think the purple flower really adds anything to your image and I would have cropped this off, also the (bug?) could have been removed before shooting.

Not a bad composition, but I find the main centered element so out of focus to be distracting to the eye. 5

nice but I'd have prefered it if there was only one coloured area, the others seem to detract from the pic
