IMG_2948OR-played-with.jpgby JerseyGenieComment: I like the richer colors. I was going to suggest that the horizon wasn't level, but it is. I guess it is just an optical illusion. It appears to me that the horizon droop down toward the mountain... but it doesn't. I wonder if this is a normal illusion in images with such an imbalance in weight side to side or with such a lovely strong diagonal through the image. Oh well, it is a very beautiful scene well presented. Message edited by author 2008-06-05 10:58:32. |

Jun 04 After.jpgby Mr_PantsComment: Very cool.... Great Idea. I just glanced at the posting and went right to the aftershot. I had to go back to the before shot to let what you did sink in.
Wonderful job. Really great.
Oh, BTW, the original wallpaper was a very cute young lady. ;-) |

Library Parkby Pug-HComment: Well, I expect that was one of the more pleasant trips to the restroom. The reflections are interesting, but I am not sure they add much to the shot. I think that a polarizing filter in your kit would let you fix unfortunate reflections.
What a absolutely beautiful park and that is what this is all about. |

Lilacsby JMartComment: WoW... Having taken some macro photos, I understand the long exposure and small aperture. I will have Lilacs in a few days. I guess I will have to try this. |

day03.jpgby totaldisComment: Great shot. I wish I could afford a macro lens. I use extension tubes and they work well, but clumsy. |

Deven & Christinaby Art RoflmaoComment: Wonderful shot of a lovely couple. Lucky boy.
With that exposure, there must have been a lot of light, still soft light. Very nice. Perhaps you could add a little about the lighting you used. |

Vishnuby AliciaComment: Hi.
I think I would like to have seen the paperweight encircle Vishnu, as if a halo or radiance or something. In the before and after environment, you could select the god and move her up so her feet would be tangent with the circumfrance of the paperweight. I might choose the scale so that the god is about 2/3 or 3/4 of the apparent hight of the ball.
In the fixed focus group, you could simply lower your point of view to do the same.
Take all this with a grain of salt. Who am I to tell you what you wanted to do. :-) |

5-june 08. before & after. a beeby rozComment: Hum... My Photoshop doesn't have those buttons, but they sure are wonderful buttons. However, it always helps when you start with a good sound image. You did, and this is wonderful. Message edited by author 2008-06-03 12:48:05. |
