I went to the library to borrow some CDs, which are located on the third floor. I thought I'd see what the view was like today from the men's toilet window. It's one of those windows that open out at a 45 degree angle - and there's a reflection of the azaleas below superimposing themselves on the scene.

Do you always go to the men's toilets equipped with your camera?

I love the impressionistic look of this.

Well, I expect that was one of the more pleasant trips to the restroom. The reflections are interesting, but I am not sure they add much to the shot. I think that a polarizing filter in your kit would let you fix unfortunate reflections.

What a absolutely beautiful park and that is what this is all about.

It was taken at 11 a.m. Remember, there is a pane of glass there which maybe what causes the haze you seem to be able to see. There's a white flowering tree, and the pink azaleas are reflected on the glass of the window.

Interesting effect. It took me awhile to sort it out. Looks like a warm day.

This is gorgeous! The reflections throw me, but the image is beautiful.

very impressionistic; nice POV and composition too!
not bad for a 3rd floor shot and a 50mm lens!

Odd, yet pretty (in an odd sort of way). Cool that you notice these kinds of things... I probably would have just walked on by :)

The reflection is really great! I love how you always find the greatest places to find a good shot. :)

Very cool on the reflection! I'm amazed it's this clear through glass, too. Particularly in a men's toilet. :-) I really do like all the shades of green, all the different textures that come into play. A marvelous park.

When I opened it up I was wondering what the heck was going on. Thanks for the description. Very interesting effect with the reflection.

That's a cool effect you achieved there. Something like this would do well if there's another impressionism challenge. The colors are fantastic.
