Lilacs from my garden.

Very nice use of the macro. I'm intrigued by the 18 sec shutter speed - I take it these reside in shade? What amazes me most is they didn't move. There always seems to be a breeze in my back yard which makes longer shutter speeds a challenge. Very good detail and color - has a nice warmth to it.

Yes, this did take a few tries before I had a full 18 sec without motion.

I really like all the lines in this, as well as the lovely muted colours, although I can't help feeling that I'd like to see the flower in the mid-left being a little sharper, just to make it a bit more of a feature.

WoW... Having taken some macro photos, I understand the long exposure and small aperture. I will have Lilacs in a few days. I guess I will have to try this.

nice soft color i like it but think i would have liked it more if you could have the left bg on the right so the focused flowers were more isolated

I really like the creamy colors of this, and especially that I can see the texture of the lilac petals. Really makes the shot interesting to looks at. I suspect you could've cranked your ISO a bit in order to make your life easier and not seen any real effect in this shot unless you really had to crop in order to get this product.

The color conversion is so appealing...it has a great soft vintage fell about it. It's like you've tea stained the image.

Interesting use of the long shutter speed. I love the soft, muted light.

Btw, I notice a few spots, mostly in the upper left "background." Could be sensor dust, or you may need to clean your lens! :-)

Tamron 90 macro, is very fine, versatile instrument, it has worthy voice, vibrant, clear & sharp - the overall pattern of the lilac is excellent, beautiful colour edit.
However, I see the creative/editorial crop, awkward & harsh. Except for pause & silence (Cage) why play notes one cannot hear.

Very soft feel. This could easily be a stock photo, a great greeting card front.

Oooooooh lovely. I love flowers. Any kind really. You did a great job of capturing the whiteness without blowing it out at all. Sweet texture and detail too :)

What a pretty photo, soft and delicate. I don't think I've ever seen lilacs this close up before.

I don't think I've ever seen lilacs of this color. Good use of DOF of make them jump off the screen.
