Escape Artistby BudyaComment: Great comp. and wonderful simplicity. Love it. Nitpick time; that line that runs across on top is a nuisance once you notice it. |

My Favorite Earringsby enajjComment: Great earrings, I agree, what can be better than having love and peace together as one? Wonderful self portrait. I like the skin tones and overall color to this. I like this from your description; I did alot and didn't write it down, and played with stuff and then deleted...so this is my best guess . It seems to be the case for every challenge entry with me. lol |

Day 2by sillygoatComment: That's a serious look you got there. Almost a 'don't mess with me' look. lol I like it though and it's a good choice for a sp. Lighting is natural?
It would be helpful to others if you included some info with your submission like shutter, aperture, and lighting used. I'm new at this portrait photography and always look to learn from other photographers. :) |

Plumeriaby ZippyComment: From the thumb I thought I was seeing seashells. Lovely twisty twirly shapes that add interest to the composition. |

Venus-fly trapby sfaliceComment: Nice lighting used here. It helps define the textures on the leaf/petal, not sure what to call it. |

dahlia-triptychby sfaliceComment: Great idea and twist on the triptych. Love this flower that I've never seen before. I like the backside view especially.

Loose Strandsby WyrdlingComment: Love it. I was thinking of doing body parts in this side challenge and I probably will for 2 or 3 days after seeing this. I love simplicity and this is a fine example. No rules say we need to include every facial feature in a portrait. Stepping out of the norm is refreshing I find.

Day 2 - Aug 08by SJCarterComment: Another nice one. You have this relaxing feeling about you in this and the other one. Well done and great lighting. I'm going to keep an eye on you and study the lighting and poses in your shots b/c I think you're going to teach me/us something. |

Day 1 - Aug 08by SJCarterComment: A great relaxed feel to this. I wish I could get that feeling across in my sp's. I will definitely try during this month. Like Midhelle has already mentioned, I like the eyes through the glasses look. The reflections couldn't be better placed. |
