Macro Day 15by socalsteveComment: Interesting blacklight effect and good detail too. This would also be an interesting effect with a blown dandelion. |

Macro Day 13by socalsteveComment: Congratulations on your son's accomplishment. Arrow of light sounds like it should be a badge for good photography. The tilt is slightly distracting but the colors are nice and the detail is very interesting. |

Day 12 - Pastelsby kteachComment: Fun colors and catchy composition. Love the rhythm and lines in particular. Also, amazing detail from the red right down to the texture of the paper. Very enjoyable capture indeed! |

Day 10: Coffee Beanby EstimatedEyesComment: mmmmm coffeeeee... The DOF is very narrow, but as far as matching up, it seems to me like the focal plane cuts through the bean at the same angle the camera must have been on for the shot. I think the trick on the eyes is just because it's harder to conceptualize that plane on a steep angle rather than perpendicular. Just thinking about the mystery aloud :) |

I like the interesting texture of this plant. I see some of the oof mentioned already. The surface of the plant seems so sharp up until where the sprout comes out, so bringing it back ever so slightly might have sharpened the sprout. Still, an interesting shot of a unique looking plant. |

Macro Day 11by socalsteveComment: Well, regarding the DOF issue, if you can't beat it, join it. I like the oil painted look of this shallow DOF type of shot. Otherwise you may just have to keep your eyes open for subjects whose petals come back up to the focal plane.
I tried the reversing thing briefly last week and found it very tricky to control, so I have all the respect in the world for what you & other reversers are achieving. |

Welded on - Day 10by slaaksoComment: Wow, that old nut has a great deal of character. The swoosh on the right is a catchy curve |
