Threesby LevTComment: Lovely and frozen looking. This is a striking snow shot. |

Dreaming Riverwalkby SandyPComment: If this could be done without the point lights, I think you would get just about what you were after. The hot trails of the lights seem distracting from the otherwise smooth flow of people and background.
Good to see you back shooting and posting pics again!
I see that you carry your shootin' iron everywhere you go too : ) |

day 5. 30 days of sharpless. the coffee shopby rozComment: I like to fancy that the guy walking is thinking about being the guy sitting and vice versa. I guess that the guy walking takes his coffee very brisk.
Good contrast of priorities captured. I think that I would have cropped to square, and removed the two sides a little, but this is fine as it is. |

Hotel Californiaby GermaineComment: Excellent image, and good processing. I am impressed with the look of this image, and curious about how you achieved it. It looks exactly as a pastel hand colored B&W photo would be expected to look.
This is the image for all the "M" people to comment on : ) |

?by Elvis_LComment: I like the red overhead. It makes the image for me, but I am not sure if it is cloud, or a tunnel ceiling.
Noticing the even squiggles in the side lines, I would say that your tires are in need of balancing : ) |

Boyby xianartComment: This is a class shot! The shallow DOF and the blur pulling the viewer right into the perfect eyes is just powerful. The desat works too. This should have been used in a free study challenge. |

Day Fiveby Bear_MusicComment: Hmmm? I can't say for sure what it is, but it certainly meets the challenge criteria. There is not even a hint in the title. You stumped me.
I see that this was shot at small aperture by the little pepper particles which seem to be in focus.
That was a good comment about the fly fishing image. It did look rather ordinary, and with no particular area of great interest. You got me think about it. Thanks. |

SD4: Exit Stage Left!!by cginoComment: This looks like a catnip moment for sure. I understand about tracking the animal with a long lens. It is difficult to frame a running shot like this, so as the General says, zoom out and crop later gives the best chances to get the shot.
I like the action. It makes you wonder what they are imagining when the act like this. |

Dance Practiceby bob350Comment: The light being centered behind the subject really helps this image. I think you achieved capturing the spirit of the dance move.
Did you try some at shorter shutter speeds? |
