I like how his head is not quite in the frame - it underscores the speed of the movement captured. |

That is so cool! It looks like little firework bursts. You couldn't have gotten that cool effect without the blur! Way to GO!
I love your kitties :)

man .. totally excellent .. those clumps of grass looked like the spray of wotever coming off'v his feet .. shame about losing the face .. animals move so fast its very difficult to get them just right .. the legs in this are just fantastic .. i can see that this cat is really moving .. in a way the head out'v the shot suggests that movement even more .. love your title .. :) |

I think it would be better with the head all in it but it's still a great capture. fantastic sense of action. |

HAUL ASS cat!! ROFL Man, he is getting the heck outta there. Great stop action. I love that the head is missing. That's just another theme running throughout this challenge. |

This looks like a catnip moment for sure. I understand about tracking the animal with a long lens. It is difficult to frame a running shot like this, so as the General says, zoom out and crop later gives the best chances to get the shot.
I like the action. It makes you wonder what they are imagining when the act like this. |

Whenever I try motion-panning on animals, I find I'm zoomed-in too far and can't get them in the frame with any reliability. With more MP available to you, I suggest pulling back to a little more wide-angle setting and cropping in later -- that's certainly what I'm planning next time I'm trying it. |

Looks like shes peeling out. Wonderful how the blur adds motion and the feeling of wildness cats possess. This could be a large cat after its prey in Africa. Gives the same impression. |
