tears of despairby SquiffyeitherjagComment: Very sad photo - please tell me those aren't real bruises! My only "complaint" about this photo is how candid it looks - like what they would take at a hospital of a battered woman. Still heart-wrenching and definitely meets the challenge!! |

Please Missby redfigComment: As much as I like the idea of this photo, it looks just a bit too posed. She is obviously a clean-cut, well loved little girl! I would recommend messying her hair a bit and giving her a dirty face and hands. The blanket is also a bit too polished. I still love it though and gave it a good score! Great job. |

At Wit's Endby AnachroniteComment: I think this is an absolutely GORGEOUS photograph! One of my FAVORITES. The only thing I would change...moving the light to his clasped hands instead of his feet, since the hands really set the mood for the picture. Still a high score and an awesome photo. Great job! |

one item, wine, glass, drink, vertical, nobody, close-up, empty, curve, blue, fragile, transparent by Pep VentosaComment: Seems a little grainy, but I like the blue background. I think I would have been more drawn to a blue base as well. |

Illuminated Texasby AnachroniteComment: Very clever, but I think it would have had more "punch" with a spotlight on Texas and the rest of the states blurred slightly. I love the whole idea of it! |

Modem plugby kiwinessComment: Just a little blurry, and maybe the lighting should be adjusted? Still a fun topic and I really like the yellow background. |

Emerald Cityby joannsComment: This is really an interesting photo, but for some reason I am missing a good focal point. My eyes roam all over, without being drawn into one specific scene?? I will still rate it high, because it is a gorgeous photo. |

Castle in the Snowby MalokataComment: This is very unique! I'm anxious to see where this was shot! Great use of the "rule of thirds". The close-up snow seems a bit distracting, like it needs to be blurred to put more emphasis on the castle. Very cool picture though! |

Ocean on the Rocksby myqylComment: As gorgeous as this is, it just doesn't grab me for some reason. Maybe if the sky were bluer??? I still love it - it makes me long for summer! |

Before the Stormby xertionComment: Beautiful photo, but seems a little dark and gloomy for the challenge??? I love the detail and the tree is amazing! |
