Day 1 - Phone Callby meneleComment: I love the fact that something that Brits know quintessentially to be red is capture in black and white. I agree with the previous comment about the nice repetion and the fencing behind accentuates that well. |

crisisby boysetsfireComment: Lovely shot, the backdrop provides a stark but eyecatching element, which for me is complimented by the fact that the umbrella looks as if it may have seen better days. I really like the reflection of the feet and legs as well |

1by sevilduvarciComment: Interesting real life shot and great that no-one appears to be really concentrating on what you are doing. For me the noise kinda works in this image though it would be good to see a smoother shot. Very nice framing |

Fire Doorby jackal9Comment: Nice sharpeness and as previously mention good bokeh. Nice off centre position. Perhaps my only adverse comment is with regards the subject matter. Its a nice image but there isnt (for my tastes) any real 'wow' factor

DAY 1. B&W. full moon ..by rozComment: Roz, well it would have got a six from me, so I think you are being harsh. Great application of rule of thrid with the 'arm' of the cross
Strangely I feel the moon actually slightly distracts as it seems a touch incongrous with the image (possibly worse because of its position in the image)
All this is in the opinion of someone who is very new to this game (and it appears to run contrary to what others have said), so please take it with a pinch of salt

Strongby RetroesqueComment: Congrats on being number one in this challenge, more congrats on the quality of the image. I love the building lines and the minamalism of the tree. The clouds give the shot a wonderful 3D effect
If all the pics in this challenge are this good then its going to be a great 30 days

A Dogs Revengeby redmoonComment: I dont know why but I was flicking through the old Gary Larsson challenge and I saw this. There is now a fellow Brit sitting with tears of laughter rolling down his cheeks, one of my all time favourite Far Side cartoons, brilliantly brilliantly executed
A very tardy ten, but added to favourites
You sir are quite simply a genius |

Sistersby xXxscarletxXxComment: Ha I laughed out loud at the fact you said that someone had told you to change your model...Ignore them!! The ones on the outside are fine its just the one in the middle that is a gargoyle!!! (That's a JOKE!!!!!!!)
Great colours and a lovely triptych, only tweak i might have made wou;ld have been to size the right frame so that her head was below yours when you look at the trip in its entirety
Nice PP, especially the clouds
