Very nice DOF and clarity on the words. I like this one.

What an interesting shot! I'd have never seen that one. Kind of a neat and very crisp shot with a great dof.

Nice conversion to B&W, and nice textures.

Jackal - good tonal range, nice curves and lines. Would like perhaps a bit more negative space at top.

Strong detail and sharpness here.....

I like this idea for the shot, it is a touched oversharped, or least that halow around it is a bit of a distraction. Also I would have liked to see this more vertical or a harsher angle, here for me it just doesn't look like the slight tilt is on purpose. Something looks a touch off on the bg as well... just odd.

Wouldn't this look good as a set of such metal gadgets that we so take for granted that we barely look at. What is causing the halo around the thingy? See there on the left? I'd like to know if anyone does.

I like the subject and the composition - a bit more dof on the letters would have been nice, perhaps alittle over sharp ?

The tones look quite nice. I think the image would benefit if all the lettering were sharp (or maybe, the other extreme, just a little bit of it in focus).

I think you did a good job getting the lettering to appear very readable. And I like how the background blurs well. This makes sure that your subject remains front and center (so to speak).

Vary simple and uncluttered. Nice! The contrast might do with a bit of a bump up and I'm bothered a little with the dark area on the bottom. Also, maybe straighten it a bit so the bricks in the background are a touch more lined up w/photo edge. My 2ยข. :) It's an appealing photo.

Very cool - love the texture of the metal. Contrast is great. I'd crop a bit off the bottom.

Interesting subject. I think I'd like to see some more crop off the bottom to get rid of the slanting angle in the left.

I like the composition. I might make it so the entire subject is in complete focus. I'd crop it up to the lettering too. This'll be fun. Hope to get to know you better~~ ;~D

Man, you can almost feel the texture in that door. Like the letters literally come off the page. I like it.

Very interesting, makes me wonder what a fire door is and what it does. I think you might need a bit more DOF to get it all in focus.

Great feeling of texture to this shot, perhaps a little plain but works for me.

interesting use of dof. looks a bit too sharp, there is kind of a halo around the hanger.

nice 'macro' on the fire door - the B/W treatment really brings out the great textures of the metal. I really like how soft and blurry the background comes off in the image.

Nice sharpeness and as previously mention good bokeh. Nice off centre position. Perhaps my only adverse comment is with regards the subject matter. Its a nice image but there isnt (for my tastes) any real 'wow' factor

Nice sharp focus on the subject with good bokeh going on. would like to see more BLACK in the tonal editing but maybe that is just MY personal taste. An allround nice shot with a good B&W conversion
