This would have been so much better with a lot of noise reduction on the steam (probably in reality smoke). Smoke highlights noise really badly, but responds well to noise reduction software like neatimage.

The isolation of the bulb is a bit clumsy (I can see the feathering), but overall I like it.

This has great potential, but lacks impact for some reason, and I'm trying to put my finger on what it is.

- I think the loss of detail in the dress is one thing, plus the composition is missing something.
- The edge of the lake looks like it's cutting her head off, which shouldn't make a difference but it does.
- I think the subject is the lady, and the lake has become a distracting element.
- The light is a bit harsh, creating unflattering shadows on her face
- The tonal range is a bit flat - lots of mid-greys and blacks, not many highlights.

Sorry for being critical. My own entry is flagging, and I wish people would try to help me understand why, so hopefully this is helpful to you.
