This made me laugh out loud. Fantastic creativity has gone into this shot. This is a bit like TheSaj's pirate ship shot in the ducky challenge in that I get a sense that a fair amount of time has gone in to placing all those tiny little balls and stuff and then people will probably look at this shot and pick holes with it and vote it down well low for no particular good reason, which really narks me because then you get entrants that come in on the first page of challenges that bear no real relationship to the challenge at all but people have voted up because they are technically great. Yeah, sure they are, but where's the imagination, huh? This shot may be a tad lacking in technical brilliance, but it's a great invention. 9

Oh my god. I literally spent a whole year completing one of these stupid sudoko puzzle books from cover to cover hundreds of the silly puzzles, night after night before going to bed. Because I can be so OC about these things I had to complete the whole book in order without any help, so obviously it took ages. Now I'm completely sick of the stupid things and will probably never do another one again. As such, I relate to your photo and your title and give this a 9.

I have a chess set similar to this one.

I like this idea, I just find the focus / sharpness? to be a little off what it needs to be.

Your cat will get their soon. She looks like the same type of cat as Missy and Suzy, and I'm sure they could attack the cord with a jump from the ground.

I reckon I'd crop the pole and the chair out of this photo for clarity.

wirey goodness. The pink sky is a good find. It looks like you have some kind of sensor dust or smudgeyness in the top left that's a bit distracting.

I bet on a single towel there could exist millions of tiny microbes and things. It's difficult to imagine anyone actually using the towel and feeling clean. On the plus side, you have a nice sky.

Did you try lightening the shadows on the rock for this shot? (Well I say the rock but just across the image). When I look at this I see a nice shot, but my eyes are looking at the rock and the detail isn't there, it's just blackness really.

Also to the left side about 2cm from the left and 1cm up there's a black blob - not sure what it is, maybe floating debris or similar, but it's distracting. I realise that in a basic challenge you can't clone it out, but maybe a different angle (to the shot) or crop could have avoided it.

Lastly I'd say that a lot of the beauty in this shot would have been the sun followed by rock followed by the reflection of the rock, and in this shot the reflection is cut off. A portrait orientation may have been interesting - grabbing the sun, rock and reflection and avoiding all the distracting stuff over to the left.

But what do I know? I think you've consistently been scoring higher than I have ;)

Here's one for Bokeh. ;)

Personally I would have entered this in Bokeh, I bet it would have scored higher than mine. I think it's actually quite clever, what with the pumpkin and all. There's no "halloween" themeatic challenge (yet) but maybe you could do a reshoot of this if one turns up.

I give this 6, as if it were in Bokeh. Which it's not, but we both know that.
