All day long little Yellow Ducky and little Blue Ducky wait patiently for the pool hall to close. When the last person leaves they quickly turn on the lights and get out their snooker balls. They practice for hours in the hope they came oneday play with real balls and use real cues. The ambitious young Duckys have high hopes but with many more hours of practice they may one day move out of the shadows of the pool hall and perhaps join the names of those famous players at the Cruicible.

WHAT?! 64th place? You have to be kidding me. This was one of the best photos in the challenge. gnarrgggg. It is a sporting venue. A sport is played on the snooker table, so it clearly meets the challenge. Ptish I say.

Cute. Hey, aren't they considered players? Then the games not over and the players haven't gone home. Dang, that's a bummer. I like the way you've composed this. One minor distraction is it looks like the focal point is on the corner pocket, this makes the foreground ducks a little soft. All JMO of course. Good luck in the challenge.

Technically well done, although a bit oversaturated for my tastes. I like the idea and the juxtoposition between the duckies and the big balls, but there's nothing that really grabs my attention. Cute, but not very memorable.

This made me laugh out loud. Fantastic creativity has gone into this shot. This is a bit like TheSaj's pirate ship shot in the ducky challenge in that I get a sense that a fair amount of time has gone in to placing all those tiny little balls and stuff and then people will probably look at this shot and pick holes with it and vote it down well low for no particular good reason, which really narks me because then you get entrants that come in on the first page of challenges that bear no real relationship to the challenge at all but people have voted up because they are technically great. Yeah, sure they are, but where's the imagination, huh? This shot may be a tad lacking in technical brilliance, but it's a great invention. 9

overall score: comp-2, MC-2, PP-0, impression-0, wow-1 = 5. IMO, the colours are too bright disturbing the eyes of a viewer.
