The composition is great, but I love the mood of this photograph. The varying shades of blue sets the tone, but the fog just adds a whole dreamy atmosphere. It's almost like a scene from a fairy tale. Excellent shot.

Wonderful architecture, dramatic sky, and the angle is oddly appealing. It would be interesting to see it in color, but I think the b&w works well.

I like the silhouette at the bottom. Intially the uppermost section seemed a little dark, but it kind of grew on me. I probably would have cropped the top some to put more emphasis on the wonderful colors. Nicely captured.

The line of green at the bottom adds a nice contrast, as well as some color to the image. The building is clearly ravaged by time, the crop is good, and the border compliments it well.

The perspective and lighting in this image is quite stunning, and the silhouette really adds something to the image. It is just a shame that I am unable to see the whole image on my screen.

The double meaning of the title is clever and adds a very sombre mood to the image. The capture of the helicopters in the background is impressive, and the silhouette of the foreground, which gives just enough detail to see the 'maturity' of the subjects, really punctuates the impact. An original interpretation of the challenge, I like it.
