Very nice.

Nicely done! You've got a real incredible subject here. I like the fact that this shot shows the ravages of time. The only thing that I would suggest to be changed is the composition/framing of the building. Being a bit more centered might have fit in better.

Like the touch of green at the bottom against the monotone colors.

Really intriguing idea and image. More contrast and more interesting light would heighten the mood here, I feel, and give even more attention to the vines and their role in the photo. I like this image a lot.

Congratulations, This is my highest rated shot of the challenge so far. Its beautiful. I have a little trouble with the tilt/crop on this. I think you might have been able to keep the sides of the windows parallel to the frame of the picture if you would have just used your 35' tall ladder. :) - Great shot 10

What an outstanding way to convey a sense of time. One of my favorites this week. I probably would have cropped the green off the bottom to magnify the effect of the dead vines, but that might just be me.

This is certainly a interesting shot! This reminds me of the house in the original H.G. Wells 'Time Machine' movie. Very nice!
03/24/2003 04:27:24 PM
The shot is tilted a bit and I would have cropped of the green at the bottom. Nice shot and nice thought for the challenge

WOW........what a find this place is........very cool. Love it.

The line of green at the bottom adds a nice contrast, as well as some color to the image. The building is clearly ravaged by time, the crop is good, and the border compliments it well.

Woah! time for a trim! Nice photo! imaginative and insightful.
03/24/2003 08:47:42 AM
Cool place to take a photo. I would make it symmetry and crop the green out.

I didn't give you permission to photograph my house :) The photograph certainly shows the effect of time. What I found to be fascinating was that the image is naturally sepia. A great shot.
