Common Bronzewing (Phaps chalcoptera)by GregoryBComment: Maybe she's just mesmerized by the talented photographer. Great use of shallow dof to create a beautiful bokeh. I agree with roz about the wings. Interesting how the same colors appear again in the background. |

7-june 09 where i live. in the waiting roomby rozComment: Tell that man to stop kicking you when you're down!
Almost has the effect of looking up from below the surface of the water - probably a combination of the shallow dof, the wide angle and the pp. Very creative and fun shot roz. |

O.Oby nixterComment: I love the lady in the background leaning over to get a shot. Could easily be any one of us. Beautiful tones and contrast. |

the queen of all she surveysby cginoComment: All cats think they're climbers...until they're stuck. Then it's "help me down, will you? Please, please, please...meow, meow, meow..." Nice capture. |

June 03 - Westzijderveldby hajekaComment: Wonderful panorama. Your skies are beautiful there. I've noticed that you don't over dramatize your skies in the pp. I like that. On the other hand you don't really need to with clouds like yours. |

June 05 - Church and taxesby hajekaComment: I find it interesting that there's a clock on the church tower. Is it reminding us it's time for church or time to pay taxes? Thoughtful composition. |

Deck at Nightby RetroesqueComment: Great perspective shot and nicely planned. The wind must have been blowing causing the oof tree branch. Looks like it was taken quite a bit after sunset since the color is all out of the light. |

Batheby RetroesqueComment: It does look lovely. Interesting shot and really well exposed with details in all the shadows and nothing blown out. |
