Infrared World by marboComment: Square crop without the tree on the left and I'd have gone 10 on this. 9 is still pretty good ;-) |

Diamonds are Foreverby slingshotComment: While I appreciate your creative design on this shot, the onboard flash, kills this shot. This image requires a diffused lighting situation. This would work well with lighting from a window with a sheer curtain over it. The focus should also be sharpest on the ring. This is what you are trying to sell, without a sharp clear ring your viewer will likely look elsewhere for their ring. |

Girls' Best Friendsby koltrane75Comment: While the post processing is extreme, I understand that was probably on purpose to give it an edgie feel.... the problem I see is the composition. I find it difficult to understand what I'm looking at and in what context it's worn or used. |

Grandma's Ringby JordanZComment: Lighting and composition are pretty good, but it seems like the focus was off some so you tried to fix it with some sharpening. This usually ends up with results that look overprossessed. |

Irish Silverby banmornComment: Controlling lighting and blemishes when doing macro jewelry is the toughest part of this assignment. Your bright spots are too hot and the blemishes on the ring itself are distracting to a potential buyer. |

February by nico_blueComment: Are you sure you didn't scan an ad from a magazine? :-D
This is very well done. The background swirls is a great touch. |

New Age Braceletsby WildpurpleComment: While I'm sure you spent a lot of time working on the lighting in the shot, the composition and soft focus leaves the viewer without a central focus. It get confusing when first looking at it. |

Spaceby marboComment: Interesting use of IR. I don't oppose to the use of IR, I just feel the pose of your subject doesn't add to the shot. Had you used a more inviting flattering pose it may make for a more powerful image. |
