You've got nice light, focus and reflections in the gold and pearl. It's really a beautiful work of art, and I'm pretty sure you were trying to reinforce its exotic nature, but the complexity of the flower you've set it on is really distracting to me. It camoflauges the interesting contours of the piece.

Really nice pearly color and texture, good control of reflections.

the pin cushion protea as the backdrop for this very unique piece of jewelry is very distracting, though I like the idea. Think the subject is just to large against the background. Like the reflections on the subject from the protea. May be tighter crop would help this for me. crop in left and bottom a bit? Not sure. it could work.

the composition is too busy and the DOF just a bit too shallow for the jewely the focal point IMO

The flower is too distracting. The colors blend, and the jewel doesn't jump right out at me. A less exotic flower may have done better. It was a good concept, tho. :)

Excellent natural setting for this natural piece.

Interesting take on the backdrop for the jewelry, and a very fitting one, at that.

Very interesting concept. However, the flower nearly overpowers the beautiful jewelry.

i found the rest of the image too busy, which detracted from the jewelry

The focus seems a bit off the jewelry to me, but nice color tones.

Now that's very interesting, and kind of confusing. The jewelry blends in a bit (reflections on the gold make the gold band disappear like camoflage) and for the life of me I can't figure out what that white stuff in the middle is. It's fun and creative. Good luck.

The use of flower here is too powerfull for the jewel. I can't really tell what kind of jewel I am loking at. Composition very center and static. However, lighting and focus are good.

The sea space creature flower seems a bit busy for the piece.

It's a very organic piece of jewelry, so it is completely appropriate that it be juxtaposed with a natural object whose simplicity and geometric form suggests manmade objects. As much as I like the idea, the colors, the forms, I think that the allium or whatever the flower is creates a visually confusing background which makes seeing the beautiful form of this piece more difficult.

Exposure & detail look good here, but composition is so busy the jewelry seems a bit lost in this shot.

I like the colors. It could have used more seperation from the jewelry to the flower so not so much of the flower was is sharp focus.

this image seems a bit messy to much going on.
The jewel is lovely and focus fine colour is good

Nice colors, but I think the plant and the jewelry are fighting for attention. The composition is too busy for me. Probably would work if you made the plant darker somehow, then the jewelry would stand out more. Great concept, though!

Item gets lost in the background. The flat lighting doesn't add interest to the shot.

It looks like all the stamens(?) are looking at the exotic beauty and that is fun. But the reflections on the gold are a distraction. I don't have a clue how you could avoid it other than raising the piece up a bit and closing down the lens.
