Is the White Light safe?by jmleliiComment: This is an intriguing shot and you should be very pleased with its appeal to the voters. I find the sense of scale as well as the elevated camera angle to provide a great deal of energy to the pic. The light reflected on the rough walls is perfect as well. NOt sure about the title, but the image is so excellent that it transends the title. And now i'm just being picky. Don't change a thing! Message edited by author 2006-10-17 16:36:01. |

Fallscapeby lifternessjtComment: Very spectacular color. Love the dark cloud contrasted with the color. Makes a nice diagonal path for the viewer accross the frame. |

Kaylaby jenesisComment: Great photo. I really like her expression and the way her hair is arranged, in combination with the close crop at the top sets off her face well. |

A lovely day gone astrayby veganmegan23Comment: In the context of the rain challenge, the picture needs to shout "rain" a little more clearly. This could be acheived by change your light source direction to side light or back light the drops. Or, to show that rain is falling or has fallen, then just move in a little closer and isolate on an interesting detail. See the blue in this challenge for example and Scalverts shot is a good example of using light direction to really show off the drops.
Also, a busy BG like you have in this pic overwhelms the rest of the picture.
Keep shooting and dont worry about the score. |
