Picture 005streetfightsized.jpgby pawdrixComment: what I love about this photo is the social commentary. everyone is either walking away or just watchin' a good show. The guy in the gray shirt is obviously still on his phone and the closer guy is watchin' that show. The blonde looks rather happy and oblivious. great capture. |

Aqua Velvaby TessComment: Ok I went and looked at your original, at least I think it was your original. I like your edit better. The way you got the icy blue to the water reminds me of the high Sierra's. I like it. |

Aqua Velvaby TessComment: I understand what you are trying to accomplish with the watercolor thing but for me the green trees just don't work. The blurry tops look more like a mistake (of course this is just my opinion). And now for my second part. I don't mind the still water because the stream is obviously flowing away from us and that is basically the calm before the storm, but they are probably right that the pic would be stronger without that section. Beautiful location and a very nice shot - I too would like to see the original. |

Alone in a Crowdby L1Comment: Originally posted by tristalisk: this meets the challenge, The bird you were trying to have in focus is very crisp. Your DOF vanished nicely. I also feel that B&W works well here. The biggest complaint I have it that the front bird realy bothers me. I it looks bad out ot focus. I do however understand why it was done. Without the front bird you would loose the feeling of separation.. I don't know what advice to give to improve this, but I don't like the front bird..Othwise very nice shot 6 |
I couldn't agree less with this comment. The front bird that is out of focus is what defines this picture. I think it is a brilliant capture. well thought out. If I was around when this hit the challenge I would have given it a 10. |

Gatitaby MambeComment: Easily the best picture of a house cat I have personally seen. THe framing is awesome. I am not personally fond of pictures of a person's cat but this one is great. THanks for sharing. |

Nature's Melting Potby SJCarterComment: I wish I was in town for this challenge - great capture. I think a little more space above would have increased your placing. Now to go from a brown to top ten gives me great hope. Congrats. |

Splashdown by agwrightComment: I knew someone would do this type of shot, I expect some blueberries in another person's photo. Having said that I like it alot. the moment of capture is perfect. I imagine that you went through a ton of these in getting this shot. well done. 8 |
