		| | Very nice Nerodia watersnake. These are my favorite snakes down here in Florida. I shoot a lot of Nerodia shots... and they are often, unfortunately, mistaken for the venomous cottonmouths. People kill these guys all the time because they are mistaken. It's a shame, really.
Anyhow, great capture ~ beautiful photograph and subject!

But I think it's a great finish. Anything over a 5.5 IMO is awsome.

		| | Creepy looking guy, I like the murky look to the water and the way his tongue just touches the top of the water. 9. |

It may be stuff in the water, but you may need to clean your sensor.

		| | Nice shot. It's a stretch for the challenge so I'm gonna knock you one point, but that's still a 9. (The title is D&L, for sure, but it only relates to the picture in the most superficial way. We may as well have had a free study.) |

		| | this is a nice shot - though you really should clone out the imperfections in the water - they're really distracting. 7 |

		| | she is just beautiful. As a snake owner, i know that wasnt an easy capture to get her tongue like that. I hope the anti-snakers don't hurt you too bad. |
