Just browsing thru and was stopped dead in my tracks on this photo! what a perfect christmas photo! this is one that will be cherished for many many years. I didnt even noticed the slight(ever so slight) overexposure of the lights. the comp and colors are perfect! this is the sweetest photo I have seen in a while...great work

perfect title for this as that was my first thought when i saw the thumb. i love it. hope ya dont mind if i try my hand at one like this. i love the abstract macro of this flower(sunflower?) wonderful...i would put it up for sale if it was mine in a heart beat!

this would have been better high contrast for me if you had used a light BG for these flowers(such as a yellow or white background) lovely orchids,great sharpness and good strong color. and love the added water drops. very nice photo just doesnt say High Contrast to me...sorry

returning to comment: please dont take offense to this as my only intention is to help( read my profile for additional info): for me this photo would be alot better if the cat was in sharp focus rather than the tree branches. if you are using photoshop 7( which is what i use) this is how i would adjust it. slight boost of contrast then i would slightly boost color saturations(master) then go to selective color and in the lue setting i would boost the cyan levels. red i would boost the magenta and yellow levels. this is just my best guess to get the most out of this photo. i hope i have helped you as that is my only intention. I do love the composistion of this photo.good luck and i hope to see you at the top soon.

I personally dont care for the added glow to this rose. i would have preferred the sharp focus and natural light for this. still a beautiful photo and one you should be happy to have in your portfolio...good luck 8

Ive seen this tree B4...my guess is dustdevil or singsunshine....hmmm...wonder if im right? we shall see.
good use of contrast but the sun spots are a slight distraction. other than that its a wonderful photo and a beautiful view. good luck
