Vases Filled With Waterby GolferDDSComment: I just hit your profile's site because I wanted to thank you for the encouraging words on my minimalism entry, and I have to agree with messerschmitt's comment "its been a while since a photo knocked me out of my shoes, this one just did" - I have to echo that sentiment! WOW, what a great shot!
Well anyway, thanks again for the kind words and I look forward to more of your work! |

Natural Cathedralby charliebakerComment: I posted a comment earlier, but needed to share with you my renewed ambition to achieve higher scores - thanks to your submission & your comments about your AVR. My current AVR is in between 4-5 in my 3 submissions so far. At first I was very discouraged, but knew that through perserverence and some self-congratulations on relatively good shots (albeit not suited for challenge material at that particular time), I could come up with a winner too.
I guess I just wanted to say again how much I have enjoyed your photo and how much encouragement your comments have given me. Thank you.

Peacefully reflectingby Ecce_SignumComment: An absolutely brilliant & beautiful image; however, I don't see what it has to do with the topic of Moods, so I had to deduct accordingly. (4) |

morning sickness @ 7 weeksby snackwellsComment: I normally don't like negative images and I don't like the title, but this photo is exceptionally engaging. You can literally see the emotion & feeling of the model and I commend you on choosing a negative image for this (as I imagine the positive image is much less exceptional). You've used the tools available & lighting to make a stunningly beautiful statement. Very nice work. (10) (Only the 4th time I've ever given a 10.) |

Disturbed by PedroComment: Very ingenious & well done... The offset subject and b/w shadows really emphasize the feeling. (9) |

Kind of Blueby Keith ManiacComment: Although obviously posed, this portrays an enormous amount of emotion and you were able to capture that spirit. Very well done. (9) |
