Challenge: Moods (Advanced Editing IV)
Camera: Canon EOS-350D Rebel XT
Lens: Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II
Location: At Home
Date: May 1, 2005
Aperture: f3.2
ISO: 200
Shutter: 1/13
Date Uploaded: May 1, 2005

This photo was lit by natural light from two north facing windows. One behind the camera to the right, and one behind the camera to the left.

Special thanks to my model (my wife, Kapan). The pose was her idea, and the background is a painting she made a few years ago.

Lovely. The draped hand makes the shot. It is so flowing with her posture lying on the dark blue. Truly stunning.

Blue is a great descriptor
Colour, Emotion, Movie, and an Austrialian nic-name, I go for the second here.
This is a strong composition with the head on the right thirds line and the arm extending allong the bottom thirds line. The nech and left arm draw you in from the side drawing you towards here face.

Creat shot and thanks for showing it...

Very good portrayal of a blue mood. Her eyes do look so sad. Great composition too.

Although obviously posed, this portrays an enormous amount of emotion and you were able to capture that spirit. Very well done. (9)

Great picture, good focus and I like the dark colors. Not sure it evokes blue to me maybe bored or sad, but it does evoke an emotion and that is the point.

This is perfection. You really have a wonderful eye. The best thing about this is the subtle expression on your model's face - it's all in the eyes. Beautiful.

This is a wonderful shot with great detail. The only thing I would of done different, if I had the ability to translate it to a photo, is show what she is laying on. 9.

I like this shot, but the thing I was expecting to see was a lone tear next to her eye. It just oozes sadness.
