The Fawns of Dawn by yankoComment: Dude... First, the image is fantastic!!! It blew me away when I saw it during voting. After seeing your original, you have given me hope for saving some of my images. Your processing techniques are impeccable and I can't state enough how much I appreciate the fact that you showed your original. This is a truly perfect example of how you can process an image to convey your own personal vision. Expertly accomplished and definitely worthy of the blue ribbon. Congratulations! |

White Bird by riversongComment: This is one of those shots that when you initially see it you are stunned by the subtlety of the lighting and impact. Then after viewing it a few times, you find yourself fascinated by the intricacies of the scene. I grew up with peacocks (albeit they were not albinos) and there are few representations that are superior to this rendering. Well done and congratulations on your ribbon. |

Graceful Flow of Elementsby lectrolComment: Oddly enough, one of my best friends just returned from a journey to this very spot (and after her description, I knew it had to be the same place she visited). The turquoise water is evidently one of its most distinguishing characteristics. Gorgeous representation. Just the right amount of cotton candy in this classic waterfall shot. It garnered a 10 from me. Beautiful. |

Red-tailed Hawkby AlainComment: I'm so flattered to finish right behind this image... This is one of my favorites (and few 10s I gave) in this challenge. Stunning clarity and color. I'm a sucker for a great bird shot and this certainly qualifies. Well done. |
