02-21-08-5480.jpgby fixedintimeComment: When I saw the icons I thought they were one icon and after I clicked it I got the benches. It was a surprise. Great contrast and diagonal lines. It looks cold and barren. Oh, I think it is really cool that the snow is completely undisturbed. |

black-and-white-week-8.jpgby LanndonKaneComment: It is really cool how the bottles are lighted to accentuate the shapes and contours. I am thinking that more randomness might be even cooler. Maybe the bottles moving more off into the BG and the space between them increasing (decreasing). Something to add to the randomness of the bottle placement. Either that of have everything anal-ized.

8.52 Seeing them offby MelethiaComment: Nice B&W and a nice photo. I like the casualness of the people. I think of travel as hurrying from place to place but here everyone is relaxed. Love the sheen on the train and the patterns of the station. |

Outboundby MelethiaComment: Deb I like the cropped version better. It accentuates the lines which I assume are to draw the eye to the person walking away. |

Week 08 - Mistby hajekaComment: I think that we (or at least I am) are programmed to want all of our pictures smooth and continuous. However, this photo really works well with the noise. It has not only that early morning, foggy feel but the grain adds a texture that well... works.

Wk_7_B&W_Cuyamaca State Parkby twmaxComment: Great sky and horizon. I get a bit lost in everything below the horizon. Maybe some dodge and burn to add highlights and shadows. |

Night Riderby GermaineComment: First impression is evening, gray building. That light is quite bright and fights for my attention although it (my attention) can rest easily on the rider since he is in focus. On closer inspection this is quite a good capture. You have him captured after the window and before the tree. He is in focus under a low light situation. |
