Nice model, nice expression. That darn windo has caused no end of grief in this photo, though.

As soon as you've finished there, you will want to go to your computer and download Neat Image. //www.neatimage.com. And get some photographic lights. And a digital camera. Really, the amount of banding in this photo makes me wonder whether it was scanned from a badly done digital print. Most of the photo is out of focus, a remarkable feat considering that the required depth of field be not four inches, and this is not a Macro shot.

OOF! Glad to see she's wearing the right protective gear. It's a really great capture. The soft lighting helps us to see the subjects face, but otherwise it makes much of the photo feel flat.

The novelty of these glass chess boards is beginning to wear off for me. It's a pretty shot. I think I would have cropped it so that the white pawn is on its own. Any chess player would get it. This owuld cut out rows of slightly out of focus men. And it would provide a greater sense of drama 'one against many.'

Was there life before the ninteenth century? I guess ninteenth century changed the way we view our beginnings. Okay, got the connection. Nice photo.

I like this shot. Great expression, nice framing, really good light. For the most part, purple and blue work, but the blue reflection on the white skin has an eerie cast to it that's a little distracting.

I like the photo but I've still got 'white on white' fatigue.

Being a little dyslexic, I get the connection and find it amusing though not terribly surprising since I nearly did the same thing myself. It's a nice composition. I like the colors, the whimsy, the good depth of field, and the negative space. But isn't there a rule at this site that no stuffed animal photo may score more than 3? What the heck. I break rules all the time...

I find the contrast a little low for my taste. And The focus is on the older hand instead of the younger one.
