New York Times by JPRComment: ;^) I like this guy! You've captured his character too I believe. Appears to be a hard, but happy life for him. I like the way the light bleeds into his space but there is enough on his face to make him stand out just right. Certainly a job well done! Good luck in the challenge, and should I congratulate you in advance for your next ribbon? ;^) |

Urban Reality by Patents4uComment: Sad, but true. You've done a nice job composing this with your choice of viewpoint. The angles and lines come together very well. Good luck in the challenge. |

January Sales Circa 2006by kevrobertsonComment: I really like the feel and tone of this image. Certainly says "busy", but also shows something for real and I can get a sense of being there. Nice choice of sepia for this. With the minimum amount of vehicular traffic this feels like it's from some time long ago. Not sure really how to describe it...but, I do like it. Job well done! Congrats in advance on your ribbon? ;^) |

Maternal Magic by LindaLeeComment: Hey-hey! What a wonderful way to start my day. Congratulations Linda! Sit down to eat breakfast in front of DPC and who do I see sitting with a BLUE ribbon? That's SO cool! Way to go!!! |

Pondering the Mysteries of the Remoteby drydocComment: Very nice candid. Well composed, lighting is very good. Something about her top (her left) hand looks funny, like you did a selection to apply a slight blur to the background (sofa) and bleed over into her hand a little? The focus on the visible portion of her leg is fine and is actually beyond (distance) her hand...so DOF should include all of the hand? Nitpicking I know. Overall I really like the "feel" of this shot, it's warm and very real. Congrats - should finish high with this one (top 5 maybe?). |

Watchfulby mpetersComment: I love the deep color and contrast in this! Hit the thirds with each head in the top line axis. Good use of negative space to the right and bottom. Your choice on DOF makes sense...should go without saying, but hey - you never know. I'm guessing top 3 on this with a nice Red ribbon to add to your stats! Congrats in advance. |

Mother Natureby jaxedComment: Very creative and enjoyable image. Coming back thru to comment. I've already given this a 10 so I can't bump it any more. ;^)
Congratulations in advance on your ribbon. I'll predict Blue! |

D- Fenceby GivemeashotComment: I'd be curious to know which lens you used for this shot; the 28-80 or 70-300? Sigma or Nikon? It looks like you're getting good lighting for the two images I've seen posted tonight. I like the angle you've taken this at - add's to the image quite well.
Anyway. Smile and keep having fun! ;^)
