Smile of Simplicityby parthsangComment: I like the play of light and shadow but I would like to see some fill light on the right. Nice expression. |

The Ringby MAKComment: Creepy. Nicely exposed and really sharp. 7. |

beadsby diannaraeComment: IMHO, every bit of light value in the frame that is not the face, distracts from the face. I know this is rather picky, but this is quite good. I might try to get a bit more shadow on the left side of the face. |

Lostby EBJonesComment: Good lighting. The right cheek looks a bit overexposed, though. Some fill light on the left side would compress the range of tones some without loosing the dramatic quality of the light. |

Sexybackby rexComment: Technically, this is pretty good if, perhaps, a bit trite. I would like a darker background, though, to contrast with the skin tone. I think the dark background would show off your good use of depth of field, too, as the arms and upper back tend to blend in with the light background. |

Over My Headby boxImmortalComment: I like the colors and the range of values you got in the background. I also like that the model is on the "light" side gazing over toward the "dark" side. Simple and elegant and cute. I would like to see the model be a little bigger in the frame, maybe. 6. |

Temperature by Sean Paulby ShmeeComment: Great job! It takes some creativity to do the temperature thing without any numbers and you did it. Great colors and good contrast. 10. |
