Big Boys Toyby buddybuddy1226Comment: Congratulations on this shot - it is one of the few times I've seen a picture of a toy that worked. Nice detail in the sand. The color yellow looks a bit flat, but the composition is great. Overall, this is a very good shot. |

Frequent Decisionby neophyteComment: Composition could be improved using the rule of thirds. Colors are not as well represented as they could be, and without knowledge of the title or challenge I would not associate the image with a decisions. Overall, this shot lacks the visual appeal found in other challenge entries. |

ROPE!by lwphotographyComment: This is just fantastic. I don't care for your subject matter, but this was technically well-done so I just have to score it well. |

Dilemma by banmornComment: Colors are excellent and good use of lines here. I don't see a decision as much as I see a choice; however, I still gave a good score. |

A Good Gameby petecushComment: Composition could be improved by keeping the rule of thirds in mind. Your focal point should take up a larger part of the frame. DOF is backwards - the focal point should be in sharper focus than the rest of the frame. |

Her Last...by danderson107Comment: It is obvious a lot of thought went into this entry. I believe the emotional impact could have been accomplished without nudity. It seems gratuitous here. The focal point appears to be the razor, yet it takes up a very small percentage of the frame. Most of the frame is in very soft focus, which conflicts with what I perceive to be the intended message. Suicide is not a soft decision, but a hard one and the technical tools should be consistent. Additionally, the razor appears to have blood on it which leads the viewer to believe the act has already taken place, yet the facial expression is more contemplative. Since the razor is bloody, I'd expect to see the model with closed eyes. Overall, this is a good effort. |
