IMHO, <--i must add this because Im an idiot. LOL. People like photos that they can relate too, or at least that they can imagine to relate to. This tells no story at all, hence is completely unrelatable to most.

How come I got this feeling, you knew all of this upon entering.

I understand your feeling with the new post process era, but it has good points and bad points I guess. In this case your artistic taste, and coordination make it a lovely image. A couple of things I like about the photo are the colors, and creativity. I love the colors you set in, and the imagination hits overdrive when I look at it. There is another thing about this photo I can't quite explain. Its the ability to hold my eyes, when I pass over seeing it tends to hold my eyes, I want to study it, look at it, learn more about it. Maybe just me, but I welcome it, and I thank you for posting.

I like the mood, and the tones. It is a very unique capture. Its almost like a little bit of heaven in an estranged corrupted place. Its the feeling I get anyway. The reds on that brown is a very cool combination, along with the bird and its dynamite. The left side is a tad bit distracting. Very nice. Ty for posting.

The photo is really flat. No real dynamic range to work with. The colors are very bland, and the subject is boring. I feel really distant from the subject.

Having said this, I think I can relate to the feeling you were going for, because I too have tried similar shots. They are a tuff game. GL. And I do like the direction you are headed.

Very cool work. Love the way you composed this, and love the artistic vision. The colors work very well, even with the range of them. Most people using this many dynamic colors would have a big distracting mess, but you used them very well, and it is all very complimentary of the photo.

Nice! Pretty cool photo. I'm wondering if this would gain more of that "pop out there" factor if you used a gradient. I use a pretty cool method in PS, that goes a little something like this.

Magic wand (tolerance 1),>quick mask mode>gradient (from top to bottom or vice versa)>exit quick mask, for standard view>Adjustments>curves. I don't know if this will be helpful, but its my laim attempt at helping.

Lady Liberty

Good job with the noise, theres hardly any. I like the colors and the darkened lady liberty part, but it comes across to me as being boring. It did catch my eye from the crowd, and I am a huge fan of simplicity, but I still long to see the river, and maybe even some of the landscape.
