Don't know if you added the sky gradient or not, but that's what makes the shot for me. Simple and beautiful.

Good job with the noise, theres hardly any. I like the colors and the darkened lady liberty part, but it comes across to me as being boring. It did catch my eye from the crowd, and I am a huge fan of simplicity, but I still long to see the river, and maybe even some of the landscape.
