Every Morning's Optionsby TommyMoe21Comment: A very nice abstract pattern - and certainly a tough choice. Focus, exposure are both perfect. The diagonal composition works well for this but.... the placement of the bright red flower in the upper right was not a good "chooice." It is the area of most color contrast and draws the eye there - and out of the image.
It's an excellent submission - which one won as the "tie of the day?" |

Alone by bongoComment: A stirring image and an unfortunate choice these days. It's a great composition with a model well suited for the job. Her pose and expression are downright perfect. My only complaint is that the print seems very flat - there's no really crisp whites - and little contrast. If that was your intention - you've succeded, but Id like it better with more tonal range. Overall - should be in the top few... |

Snack Time! What's it gonna be???by boomerComment: That's not a choice! Eat em both! Your use of the tape measure is very original - adds impact and also makes the viewer think. Technical stuff all great (exposure, focus, composition.) |

First choises...by AmasonComment: It's a good example of young choices! Great use of DoF with the sharp focus on the little one - don't need to see thepacifiers that sharp. For me the border is way too much and not needed. |

"Which Way...?'by tfarrell23Comment: The ole' "fork in the road" is becoming a DPC cliche! Nice composition and exposure, but the print seems pretty flat. It has a lot of midtones but no really white or black tomes. Since the whitest part of the image is in your border - it detracts a bit. |

Amber Light - Brake or Accelerate?by sbeaumontComment: Wonderful use of a long shutter speed (or perhaps rear curtain flash sync.) Exposure, composition and focus spot on. Minor problems are the whit dot in front of the pants and at the top of the accelerator. Black border is pretty "heavy."

Executive Decisionby C-town driverComment: Nice idea and execution. Would be better if (a) The ties were not so similar in diagonal lines, b) The border was removed. |
