In judging this challenge I don't ask "Does this photo make me want to eat this?" I ask "Would I want to hang this on my wall?" Your image works well in that regard. You have a good balance of light and dark and do a good job of capturing the textures of the different parts of the subject, such as the moistness of the frosting. The shadows make pleasing shapes,

I love the concept and the way the photo is cropped so that the subject sits on the bottom of the frame. The backlighting is mostly even but some of the highlights are a little over-exposed.

I rank this one near the top. I like how the different types of fruit and chocolate form layers and stripes of different colors that lead the eye diagonally across the image.

I like the use of color to draw the eye to the focal point. Being the focal point, it would be better if the strawberry were clear. This concept would work really well if the model and strawberry were both clear but the people in the background were out of focus and motion blurred. There are too many distracting elements in the background that could have been cropped out, particularly the sad-looking guy and the hand.

I really like the texture in light and dark areas on the foreground strawberries. With a dark chocolate sauce it would have been better to have a lighter plate and table to offset it. Overall the image is a bit too dark but the highlights are still a little bright -- more exposure and less contrast would help.

You captured nice textures in the bowl of pudding itself. This would work much better with a lot less of the background taking focus away from the main subject. The spoon in the background goes through the middle of the subject. Overall the image seems a little too pink.
