Looks like a great dessert. Just reading the title makes me already hungry. Nice composition. Perhaps you should have cleaned the top of the glass on the left. |

Yum, only nit pin would be getting rid of there spoon handle and handle for the tray in the back ground so they are not appearing to come out of the top of the dessert. |

You captured nice textures in the bowl of pudding itself. This would work much better with a lot less of the background taking focus away from the main subject. The spoon in the background goes through the middle of the subject. Overall the image seems a little too pink. |

The cream bowl on the left competes with your dessert, which is now no longer separated from the background. Unfortunate that the spoon cuts through the strawberry. |

This is a tough challenge to vote. I'm torn between "what are you trying to do here" and "what do I expect here". Further complicating matters is the question "what would I do here".
What I would expect would be a technically strong piece of eye-candy that would present the dessert in a way that I would want to at least sample it, if not order it. Along these lines I'm looking at technicals: backgrounds, distracting elements, exposure, sharpness. I'm also looking for creativity, imagination, and originality, which can make up for less than perfect technicals.
So, where does this leave me with your image?
Nice idea, but that serving spoon absolutely robs the background. A simple wooden spoon with no handle would have been ok, but as is, the contrast of the black comes across the same way a telephone pole does coming out of someone's head in a portrait. Without the spoon, and maybe with a squarer crop, I think you'd have a much stronger image. |

love the foreground and central subject but the color of the curtain behind is just off from the table top. All in all really nice though 7 |
