The Fireby MrJCasanovaComment: Really interesting scene. A breath of fresh air to not see bugs or flowers! |

Create/Destroyby spiritualspatulaComment: When coming back to comment on this image, I've decided to change my score from an 8 to a 9. You really set the scene here. The viewer gets a great feel of the scope of the location which is a breath of fresh air in this challenge. The tones are subtle and the foreground blur is minimal. But this image is equal parts smart and striking. It is in a class all it's own. A clear ribbon winner imo. Very well done. |

Cagedby riotComment: Love this image! The angle at which it was shot coupled with the fencing and the title of the image really works well here. A straight on shot of this exact image would normally score about 2 points lower. Well framed and cropped. A ribbon winner imo. |

Reflecting by LydiaComment: My highest rated of the challenge. It's not a flower, and it's not just grass in the foreground lol. This image is clever, razor sharp where it counts and has a very pleasing color palette. I would like to have seen the bottom 10% or so cropped though. It tends to pull the eye to the bottom right corner and kind of sticks out. Still one of my faves and should get the blue imo. Good job and good luck! |

Good enough to eat or not?by NeatComment: I am usually a fan of low key images, but I think this could have used a bit more brightening in the middle. Cool image though, well done. |

When You're Feeling Blueby namComment: The only flower picture I gave an 8 to in this challenge. LOVE the texture and tones. It's truly not "just another picture of a flower". With the softness of the flower, the softness of the tones, and the brilliant aperture choice, creating soft fore and background blur, this is almost a 9. If I could give any feedback it would be to crop it right above the top right flower to cut out the unnecessary part of the image. I think with this being done, you could sell quite a few of these! A+ on everything else though. Absolutely love this image. I hope it ribbons. You deserve it! |

Proud as a . . .by sjhulsComment: Seems to suffer a bit from the classic "soft cheeks, crisp eyes" that can make things look a bit unnatural. Other than that very nice portrait. |
