 Yes, this is Trollstigen, Norway.

I was not sure which image from my trip to Norway I should submit. This was not my favorite one but my Long Shots friends were quite sure this could do very well and they were right. To get such score in a 'best of' is not easy. I was very close to 7 (6.99 three hours before rollover) and I really hoped to get it.

Trollstigen is in Andalsnes, mid-south of Norway. This is one of the most famous roads in Norway and its name means the Troll's road.

And my July free study entry was taken at the beginning of the climb. From the top is one of the mountains you can on the left:

Taken along the road to reach Stavanger.

Soon I'll post a reportage of my trip to Norway :)

A couple of funny things: LalliSig recognized the place where this was taken and I guessed who was the author of the winning image... LOL.

Moreover this was not Stelvio pass, but I'm Italian :)

Quite excited to hear that you recognized my style, this is great!

But this is not Italy, I was in Norway this summer ^_-

But I have to say that Stelvio Pass could be quite similar, even if not so dramatic.

Funny how our shots were taken fairly close to each other. I've never been here but was thinking it looked like Norway.

Beautiful choice Alenssandro. Can you imagine riding a bike up or down this road?! We have some pretty cool mountain roads in Colorado, but nothing quite as fantastic as this scene. Hope it's doing well for you.
