 Editing: slight crop, fiddled with contrast, slightly raised gamma by tweaking tone curve, dodging and burning around the feathers and eye to emphasise the textures.

Love this image! The angle at which it was shot coupled with the fencing and the title of the image really works well here. A straight on shot of this exact image would normally score about 2 points lower. Well framed and cropped. A ribbon winner imo.
