Brothers and Best Friendsby L1Comment: nice emotion. i like how 1 is blurred and 1 is focused. perhaps it mirrors their personalities. his eyes looking off are great, unfortunately i'm drawn to the brother's hand on his back, which is cool but seems to distruct the balance of the image and pull me away from the center...since the embrace is an intricate part of the feeling, perhaps cropping down the right side to the ear would help things bleed off the page on the right as you have done on every other side, and rebalance the image...at least for me. I realize these are some overly critical comments for what will undoubtably be a very well received image...sorry...nice capture. |

Gretchen, Mark, Rosie Jack — 3 Generations in Sunset Lightby Bear_MusicComment: great exposure and focus. i understand what you were going for but the bg looks a bit fake, perhaps due to the tough editing around their heads. if only 1 person where to look at the camera, i would have liked it to be the focal point or in your case, the baby |

Sunday Afternoon on the Boardwalkby DiComment: if this is your family i'm confused. you have 2 wonderful models and you have chosen to take a pic of them doing a rather odd exercise. why not have them walking down the boardwalk, perhaps with her on his shoulders, perhaps blurring out the background around them (if possible with your lense) to focus on their togetherness...just a thought |

Family Treeby ShutterPugComment: most clever shoe idea yet. Though for a balanced composition i would have liked to see something in the bottom right. perhaps a pair could have ripened and fallen off...perhaps that's going a bit too far...you did fine. |

Sistersby sigrun_thComment: wonderful shot. excellent lighting and focus. great overall composition. though the more i look at it, the more the placement of the handbag feels forced...unless of course this was a candid, at which point i will now shut up. But before I do...the border was too daring, and i find it distracting. |

sisterby kdeleonComment: interesting lighting. wish you hadn't cropped out the full hand...seems to be a bit of a key point in the composition's idea |

Three Bearsby thomaspeopleComment: seems a bit over sharpened. the doorway is distracting as well are the shoelaces running off of the page. I think this could have been a more interesting shot from a different angle with a bit more exotic lighting. |

Universal Symbolby cools98Comment: well i can't figure out what you've done here...so it is intriguing in that respect. At first i thought it was a mirror image but I think i see 4 different rings which seems odd as a symbol for marriage. anyway, the light refractions from the glass around a couple of the rings are a bit annoying. the centered composition is a bit static. the background color and lighting are terribly bland, though your shadow removal was well done. your focus is very soft. perhaps perusing the previous jewelryadvertisement challenge might provide some useful insight. |

Licks!by vtruanComment: nice focus on the face. i like this better than most of the snapshots. conveys a nice family moment. the moving spoon is very distracting |

Basement bluesby lytaComment: nice lighting...i get a strange feeling from this rather odd picture. i'm liking this for circle more than family, but who cares. |
